EXO is a South Korean-Chinese boy group formed by SM Entertainment. The group debuted on April 8, 2012, with 12 members, but they later became a nine-member group. The original members were Kris, Luhan, Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Tao.
Over time, members Kris, Luhan, and Tao left the group, and EXO continued as a nine-member group. The current members are Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun.
EXO gained immense popularity both in South Korea and internationally for their music, energetic performances, and visually appealing concepts. They have released numerous hit songs, including “Growl,” “Call Me Baby,” “Love Shot,” and “Ko Ko Bop.” The group is known for their diverse discography, incorporating various genres, and their strong presence in the global K-pop scene.
